If a Seoul package makes a Brazilian butt lift look like ordinary fat grafting, pause. A BBL combines liposuction with gluteal fat transfer, and international plastic-surgery societies say it carries significant risk compared with other elective cosmetic operations. What a BBL actually involves

The surgeon removes fat from areas such as the abdomen, waist or thighs, processes it, and injects part of it into the buttocks. The operation therefore creates recovery areas at both the donor sites and the buttocks. It differs from a skin-removing buttock lift and from buttock implants.

Not all transferred fat survives, and the retained volume is unpredictable. Weight change can alter the contour.
